The Hardware Matters
The Sense monitor was designed for the highest level of measurement accuracy and is ETL/Intertek certified for safe operation inside the electrical panel.
Sensors read current 1 million times per second within 2% accuracy, required for machine learning device detection.
No minimum Wattage monitoring threshold. Some monitors cannot read signals less than 240W.
Voltage and Amperage monitoring ensures accurate calculations. Some monitors only measure one power leg, meaning variability in power consistency results in inaccurate calculations.
How it Works
The Sense monitor installs in your electrical panel. (We recommend you have an electrician do that.)
The monitor reads the electrical current being drawn and sends the data to the cloud.
Sense analyzes that data and sends it back through the app on your phone or desktop.
Over time, it learns what’s happening in your home, detects devices, and provides information on your energy use.
